Literally in our society ; If you think of marriage means -spend of lakhs and crores for an event.
A messenger (Family barber, In our Hindu religion) has came to give "betel nut and Mahaprasad"- these are the kind of rituals in our hindu society in Odisha to invite our family members for their marriage. Responses of family members were like they got a bad news . Everyone were in shocked !
{ Before jumping into the story,I wanna show you the view. How covid-19 has been affecting human life and what is its effect in my locality.
Corona (covid-19) has spread its terror everywhere in the world. It has already caused millions of death worldwide. The economic situation in the country looks bleak.Citizens in India are concerned over increasing jobs losses and large layoffs across the country, which is going through a deep economic crisis in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.Nearly 5-6 crore people have no savings for their daily expenses.}
Though we have to perform necessary events to continue the cyclic process of nature but we have to obey the govt. rules to avoid spreading of this pandemic disease.
In marriages, you can find relatives, friends,villagers,society people,etc more happy than the family members. Since this is covid time and we are abide by the govt. rules ; maximum 50 members are allowed in a marriage event.Similarly, maximum 300 people are allowed for the reception party(for the feast only). Literally marriage ceremony celebrated in nights ;now this can be performed in day time only.
If you look at the best side of corona effect.This is the great time to finish these events in a less spend (this is applicable only for lower income groups). This is great time to give marriage of girl in less burden (whether govt. has strict rules against dowry system; this is only in paper form).

Everyone were looking at each other . No one was eager to receive the invitation,even no one had offered sit to him.He had a sit himself and was trying to give full information about the marriage. From the clarification of the messenger, It was understood that It was the marriage invitation of their Sister -in-law's only son. There were lot of reasons and questions in their mind to be amazed and astonished like:
1) Has he married interracial ?
2) Did he have a girlfriend ?
3) They did not have prior information about the marriage
4) His younger sister got married recently (sister in law's younger daughter).
5)The locked question which was in everyone's mind-: How to give gifts ?

Number 3 question was reasonable. Everyone is running under shortage of money and source of income is totally paralysed on the contrary 2 marriages and other events have been done in these days.
It was twist time in the whole story. After giving the "Betel nut and Nirmalya" in the plate of family members, Messenger disclosed whole story clearly. Actually, It was the marriage of their Sister-in-law's ,Brothers-in-law's only son's marriage invitation 😍. Everyone were blushing. A sound was heard..Ohh god! saved !.
